Associate Director of Admissions

The Office of Admissions at Messiah College has an immediate opening for the postion of  Associate Director of Admissions. This full time position will supervise full-time regional representatives and manage a recruitment territory with the goal of communicating the mission of Messiah College to ensure robust enrollment. This role includes coordinating the scholarship selection process for the College Honors Program, serving as the admissions financial aid counselor and liaison, and bridging the gap between intercollegiate athletics and enrollment management.  Education and experience required includes a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of admissions experience; Master's degree preferred.
Other requirements include: Effective interpersonal skills in student and family counseling; Ability to work with and relate to both on-campus and off-campus publics; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Effective presentation skills; Solid organizational and management skills; Strong computer systems expertise; Experience in market research beneficial;  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently.  Many duties of this position are performed during the evening and weekend hours.
