Bryan College:
Located in Dayton, Tennessee (30 minutes north of metro Chattanooga), Bryan is a Christ-centered liberal arts college which is evangelical, non-denominational, and regionally accredited. General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes plans and strategies to recruit traditional students to the college
• Provides leadership and oversees day to day operation of the office of admissions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Ensures that reasonable goals for new traditional student enrollment are set and achieved
• Manages the processing and evaluation of all applications for traditional admission to the college
• Oversees distance education recruitment and is involved in developing growth strategies for this program
• Plans and executes recruitment initiatives including: direct mail, electronic marketing, college fairs, school visits, campus visits, etc.
• Maintains a tracking system to measure effectiveness of recruitment efforts and prepares reports at regular intervals
• Develops overall budget for the office of admissions
• Participates in various committee meetings and serves as chair of the admissions committee
• Attends appropriate professional development meetings
• Travels to recruitment events to represent the college
Reports To:
Vice President for Enrollment Management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly oversees: Assistant Director of Admissions, Admissions Office Manager, Distance Learning Coordinator
Provides general oversight for: Admissions Counselors, Admissions Support Staff

• Character traits of honesty, integrity, and reliability
• An ability to get along well with the public, students and co workers
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in undergraduate admissions
• Strong presentation skills required
• Experience with all Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with Bryan’s SIS (eCAMS) preferred
