Position Profile – Vice-President, Enrolment

Summary

The VP, Enrolment is the recruitment and retention strategist for Briercrest College & Seminary, positioned to influence the enrollment of our schools and direct the establishment of our institutional identity/brand.

Qualifications

• Must be a mature follower/disciple of Christ.
• Must be familiar with the Christian College Movement and have at least five years of experience in enrollment management.
• Must be able to direct best practices for recruitment, retention, communication, and public relations and events.
• Must have at least a Masters Degree.
• Must be able to lead at a senior level of the organization, able to influence culture and behavior within the Enrolment Division and across the organization/learning community.

Desired Outcomes and Responsibilities
• Is responsible to actively support and promote the Briercrest College & Seminary vision and mission.
• Is responsible to build a team that will strategically establish a culture and practice of recruitment, retention, communication, and public relations and events that work to ensure achievement of the institutional ends and strategic plan.
• Is responsible to remove barriers to the admission and retention of diverse students who can take advantage of our mission.
• Is responsible to market and brand the work of Briercrest College and Seminary.
• Is responsible to engage alumni and churches in the work of Briercrest College and Seminary.
• Is responsible to cultivate a climate that advocates for the value of Christian Education (high school, college, and seminary).
Team Relationships

• Reports directly to the President.
• Is a member of the President’s Cabinet.
• Leads the Enrolment Team (Admissions, Retention, Communications, Events and Public Relations).
