Job Summary:
This is a full time position that reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions and assists in all phases of recruitment and admissions counseling of all traditional programs within Judson University. 

 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Recruits students.  Serves as a counseling resource for prospective students and provides interpretations of related admissions and academic policies.
  • Assists in the planning, coordinating and scheduling of informational meetings and other recruitment activities.
  • Conducts informational meetings, college fairs and other promotional events.
  • Presents Judson University degree programs in varied settings, such as school districts, community colleges, churches and general public audiences.
  • Manages prospective students through a combination of CARS tracking systems, Excel, and other reporting methods.
  • Assists department in planning of market strategies, which may include the development of copy for correspondence, marketing materials, and website.
  • Interacts with faculty, administrators, and staff in various departments relating to admission policy, process, and student issues.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned or directed.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required. Position requires one (1) to three (3) years-related experience, preferably in admissions, counseling, sales, or an equivalent combination thereof.  Knowledge of Judson University or experience from another private Christian university is preferred.  Must have initiative to generate referral activity.  Successful candidate will possess excellent public speaking and telephone skills; be computer literate; have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; have high energy, good judgment and commitment to students. The ability to be creative and flexible; to work independently and to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, staff and community. Position will require occasional evening and weekend work and moderate travel. A valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
