Speakers:

Tami Peterson is the Founder and Creative Engagement Officer at Life Architects Coaching, a life and career coaching practice located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. Tami understands the challenges of Christian education professionals—she is a former high school director of guidance and has served on the NACCAP board. Tami helped to develop Guidance Counselor Certification and continues to serve as a faculty member for this one-year program. She has inspired colleagues with practical and thoughtful professional training.

God in his wisdom and grace has modeled for us a perfect cycle of work and rest but as willful creatures we use our imaginations to create a life that exhausts us. This conference will explore our options as we consider the battle for our hearts and minds through the work of our hands.

Tim Fuller leads the Enrollment and Marketing Solutions teams as Senior Vice President at Credo and consults in the areas of enrollment management, strategic planning, executive search, and research. Tim has been in higher education and consulting since 1980.  Prior to joining Credo in 2007 he served as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Houghton College, supervising admission, student financial services and church relations in addition to coordinating student persistence efforts.  A past president of the North American Coalition for Christian Admission Professionals (NACCAP) and Senior Research Fellow with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, Tim earned a B.A. from Houghton College and an M.B.A. at State University of New York at Buffalo.

Session Details:

Session 1 & 2 – Work and Rest

Do you feel like you are in a battle for your life? Is work wreaking havoc with your other important values? Is our post-modern 24/7 culture creating diminishing returns for your office? Bring your whole staff to join the discussion as we tackle this topic in an intimate setting this spring. As an added bonus, we have built in discussion times to which you may bring your toughest work related topics. Take a day and get refreshed and retooled with your friends from NACCAP.

Session 3 (A) - Plenary Discussion

Our group will gather to discuss those items that impact our daily lives in work-life balance. As well as uncover those items that each of us confront impacting our efforts in advancing Christian Education.

Session 4 (A) - Small Group Discussion

We will divide into smaller groups, based on membership segment (high school, undergraduate and graduate/seminary), to discuss those "hot topic" items that impact our efforts in high schools and colleges/universities.

Sessions 3 & 4 (B) - GAP Attendees

Tim will lead specific discussions for the GAP membership in attendance. He will discuss the first-ever NACCAP/Credo - GAP Survey (launching this spring). Tim will also inquire about additional research/survey needs such as GAP Admitted Student Research (ASR).  He will also talk about what Credo is learning from working with GAP projects on some partner campuses.
