Fort Wayne, IN Fair Tops OthersThe National Christian College Fairs (NCCF) have come out with their yearly fair rankings for last fall. For the 2005 NCCF fairs, the Fort Wayne, Indiana fair has come out first out of 100. Each fair is ranked on overall attendance, number of colleges and universities that sign up and overall satisfaction of attendees among other criteria. "We were very excited to hear that Fort Wayne had the top spot out of all 100 fairs." said Krista Meckling, Coordinator of Membership Services and Communication at NCCF. "It is encouraging since it has been 5 years since the fair was last hosted in the Fort Wayne area, and was dropped due to low attendance".
Low attendance proved out of the ordinary this past year in Fort Wayne. Over 545 parents, students and other community members attended the fair, making it one of the most attended fairs in the 2005 season. "Amy Mattox, admissions counselor at Huntington University, coordinated the local fair for the NCCF. She did such a great job, and we look forward to her coordinating this fall’s fair as well," stated Meckling. The Fort Wayne Christian College Fair will be held this fall on Thursday, October 5th, 2006 from 6:30-8:30 at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 U.S. 24W, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
