NACCAP Members:

In accordance with the NACCAP By-Laws, recently we asked you to submit nominations for upcoming open positions on the NACCAP Board of Directors. A small committee made up of current board members has worked though the nominations and developed a slate of candidates for each position.

Below are the open positions, the name of the nominee listed alphabetically, comments from the NACCAP member who nominated the candidate, and the nominee’s title and school. A complete list of job descriptions are listed below the nomination names. After looking over the names, please follow the link to the voting page:

Only one vote per institution (**Undergrad and Grad are considered 2 separate institutions, one vote for each**). If more than one member votes from an institution, only one submission will be considered. PLEASE distinguish if Undergrad or Graduate/Seminary/Adult Learner on the voting page.

GAP (Graduate and Adult Professional) Council, Choose One
(membership vote):
  • Jon Endicott, Director of Graduate Admissions, Fresno Pacific University
“Jon has been in and around college admissions for several years, and he has experience working with multiple student populations. Fresno Pacific has extensive online and extension site graduate offerings, and it seems he would meet the current needs of the GAP Council very well.”
  • Mona Salyer, Dir. of Recruitment for Grad and Prof Studies, King College
“Mona brings a wealth of knowledge about the recruitment and needs of graduate students.  She works hard to stay abreast of current issues in the field.  Also, Mona's approach to recruitment and to student services is personal and direct.  Graduate students respond well to this focus and type of interaction.  I believe she would bring a good background in enrollment management and wisdom to the position.”

 Governance Committee, Choose One
(membership vote):
  • Shannon Hutchinson, Assistant Director of Admission, Point Loma Nazarene University
“Throughout her years in admissions at PLNU, Shannon has been an example of leadership not just to the office of admissions, but to her colleagues at other institutions as well. In order to be successful in the Governance Committee a person must have the ‘ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function,’ as stated by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Shannon does that. She is able to understand rules and regulations, while at the same time connect with the complex issues that an individual institution has to deal with.”
  • Bruce Oldham, VP of Enrollment Management, Mount Vernon Nazarene University
“Bruce has 10+ years of Enrollment Management experience and a wealth of knowledge in the industry. He is a collaborator and innovator. He was also recently selected as the Chairperson of NEON (Nazarene Enrollment Officers Network), and provides strong leadership to that group.”

High School Council, Choose One
(membership vote)
  • Debbie Diehm, College Counselor, Shiloh Christian School
“Debbie is very connected in this area of the country, has been in the business for a long time, and has a heart for kids to go to Christian colleges. Debbie does HS counseling consulting at some of the smaller Christian schools in Arkansas.”
  • Katie Bolling, Guidance Counselor, Woodcrest Christian
“Katie was an undergrad admissions counselor at California Baptist University for several years then went to Azusa Pacific University for a graduate program in School Counseling. She would come with a solid background in admissions and would offer the High School Council a unique perspective.”

Northeast Representative for Undergraduate Council, Choose One
(only those who are in the Northeast Region may vote for this representative):
  • Mike Dziedziak, Director of Admissions, Eastern University
“Mike is an excellent communicator and would bring broad perspective to the Board.”
  • Matt Reitnour, Director of Admissions, Houghton College
“Matt is a thoughtful director with much experience in admissions.  He knows the issues in the Northeast well and would be a nice addition to the existing Board.”

Southwest Representative for Undergraduate Council, Choose One
(only those who are in the Southwest Region may vote for this representative):
  • Hollie Gorsch, Director of Undergrad Admissions, The Masters College
“Hollie has been at The Masters College for seven years.  Took over a difficult situation and has turned things around.  Actively participates in NACCAP and regional events.  She is well-respected by her colleagues.”
  • Mitch Fisk, Vice President for Enrollment Management, San Diego Christian College
“Mitch has been involved in Christian Higher Education for the last 12 years.  He has served in the roles of Recruitment Program Manager; Assistant Director of Alumni & Church Relations; Director of Alumni and Church Relations; and Director of Admissions at a Christian College in Minnesota.  He has spent the last three years as the Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing at a Christian College in Southern California.  His time in Higher Education has solidified his desire to stay involved with helping to raise up the next generation of Godly leaders.”

Southeast Representative for Undergraduate Council, Choose One*
(only those who are in the Southeast Region may vote for this representative:
  • Brad Camilleri, Assistant Director of Admissions, Asbury University

*Brad was appointed to fill the vacated Southeast Representative position nine months ago.  Having fulfilled that term, Brad is running uncontested for a new term on the board.
