NACCAP Regional Service Award Criteria

NACCAP REGIONAL SERVICE AWARD

GOAL

To provide recognition for an outstanding admissions/guidance counseling professional within each region of NACCAP


SCOPE

To be chosen annually representing each region and will be awarded at the annual conference

 

Anyone from any region may nominate someone for a Regional Service Award irrespective of the region in which they nominator resides


CONSIDERATIONS

Current members of the NACCAP Board of Directors or NACCAP staff are not eligible for consideration

 

Any member of an admissions staff may be nominated for the award including assistants, associates and senior directors or deans, counselors, recruiters, campus visit coordinators, office managers, etc.


CRITERIA
  1. Nominees must have at least one year of service in admissions/counseling profession at a NACCAP member institution
  2. Nominees should be considered for contributions made to the Admissions profession and NACCAP that would otherwise go unnoticed (the silent servants in our offices)

Nominations should not be considered based solely on numerical success in achieving enrollment or counseling goals or years of service in the profession


PROCEDURES

Requests should be e-mailed or returned to: Krista Meckling, NACCAP Coordinator for Membership Services and Communication: krista@naccap.org, PO Box 5211 Huntington, IN 46750, fax: 260-359-0101 by Friday, May 9th, 2008.


Nominations should be in narrative form of 250 words or less
 


Regional Representatives will make the selection recommendations to the Board of Directors
