Call for Presentations for NACCAP Conference at Cedarville UniversityNACCAP Annual Conference at Cedarville University June 2-5, 2009Call for Presentations Purpose: We are seeking presentations that address the professional development needs of our members. Proposals may encompass the needs of any or all of our facets of membership including adult learners, graduate & seminary enrollment issues, matters impacting secondary school counselors as well as traditional undergraduate enrollment personnel. Audiences: We organize presentations into potential specific membership audiences. The audiences that we intend to reach are: * New Admissions Counselors * Campus Visits/Events * Experienced Admissions Counselors* Middle-Management * Office Managers * Information/Data Managers * Senior Management * Graduate School, Adult Learner, Degree Completion & Seminary Admissions * High School Guidance and College Counselors * Diversity Recruitment * International Student Issues * Transfer Student Issues * Financial Aid & its Interface with Enrollment Potential Presentation Topics: Here is a list of potential presentation topics in which we are interested in receiving proposals. This list is not exhaustive so proposals will be accepted on other topics, but we are targeting presentations that address this list of topics first: * Diversity* Best practices * Marketing * Office teamwork * Communication: Tele-counseling, Print, Electronic, E-counseling * Managing wait lists * Admissions related software/Database management * Advancement in the field of Admissions/Enrollment Management * Changes in college entrance exams (SAT and ACT) and their implementation * Women in leadership * Professionalism * Technology (current or future) * Middle Management Issues * Cross-cultural & Third Culture Kid recruitment * Issues impacting experienced admissions counselors * Campus visits and events Potential topics particularly germane to Graduate/Seminary/ Degree Completion Audiences could include but are not limited to: 1.
