REMINDER-ANNUAL ADMISSIONS BENCHMARKING STUDY IS NOW OPEN
Annual admissions benchmarking study is now open through mid-February and needs your participation. This study helps you gauge your investments in staffing and recruiting relative to other NACCAP institutions. It also gives you helpful comparisons on various admission funnel yield ratios. Many NACCAP members find this information helpful in their budget planning, making the case for additional staff/budget and recalibrating their admission strategies.
Performa Higher Education conducts this research on our behalf under the leadership of Tim Fuller so you’ll see reminders to participate coming from various email addresses such as tfuller@performahe.com, support@naccapresearch.org and occasional others. Please make sure these addresses are cleared through your spam filters.
The NACCAP Enrollment Research Project is a very tangible and valuable benefit for NACCAP members. In addition to the annual Admission Benchmarking Study we also gather admission funnel snapshots six times a year (the next funnel report opens February 1st, in fact).
Why is this kind of research important to my institution?
Every enrollment officer is used to the question “how are the numbers?” You get asked that question frequently and in a variety of settings on and off campus. There is a lot riding on new student enrollment at the tuition-driven institutions who are members of NACCAP. The best way to answer this question often involves not just a comparison with last year, or even the last several years; it should involve some sense of what the trends are in the marketplace of Christian higher education. By participating in the NACCAP Enrollment Research Project you get access to not only general trends for NACCAP members as a group but data on the institutions against which you measure your own success on a regular basis. When you answer the “how are the numbers” question with your own trends and supplement it with Christian higher education trend data you can assure those asking you are aware of the right kind of information on which to base your team’s work.
CHRISTIAN COLLEGE GUIDE TO GO LIVE!
The Christian College Guide has proven to be a helpful tool for students and families who received this through the National Christian College Fairs as well as through our various high school members and our many contact lists. We’ve been asked many times if the Guide is available on our website.
We’re working with our publisher to offer the Christian College Guide 3rd edition online. NACCAP is excited to announce that sometime next month this should become a reality. Watch for the announcement when CCG 3 goes live! And be watching for information on the website and through TargetX email about participating in the 4th edition (forms to advertise in the 4th edition will be online in March).
