NACCAP Response to NACAC Vote

Tuesday, October 1, 2019   (0 Comments)

In light of the recent vote by NACAC to remove some provisions in their code of ethics to satisfy the Department of Justice’s inquiry, NACCAP will be reviewing our policies as well. The NACCAP Executive Committee will be meeting this Friday, the Governance Committee will be meeting soon and the Board of Directors meeting in November to cover this topic and establish a move-forward plan. We certainly are sensitive to the impact that this can and will have and we want to be sure to adhere to our Principles of Good Practice, while remaining cooperative with the law.

Please note that in the meantime, all current events including the Benchmarking Study and Funnel Report surveys are completely volunteer and therefore make them compliant with the DOJ and should not deter your participation.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this issue, feel free to reach out to anyone on the board or NACCAP staff.
