The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) is pleased to announce that institutions accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) are now eligible for full NACCAP membership. While TRACS institutions were previously eligible for associate membership, this expansion grants full access to the benefits and resources of the NACCAP network. This decision, recently approved by the NACCAP board of directors, reflects a significant step in expanding the organization’s reach and impact across Christian higher education. “As NACCAP continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of Christian colleges and universities, we are excited to welcome TRACS-accredited institutions into our membership,” said Dr. Phil Cook, NACCAP president. “This expansion reflects our commitment to advancing Christ-centered education by building a broader network of enrollment professionals who share a common mission.” TRACS is recognized by both the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as an institutional accrediting agency for Christian post-secondary institutions, colleges, universities and seminaries offering certificates, diplomas, and associate, baccalaureate and graduate degrees through the Ph.D., including institutions that offer distance education. “I am delighted to join in the announcement of this new partnership between TRACS and NACCAP,” said Dr. Timothy Eaton, president of TRACS. “I believe that joining with fellow Christian admissions counselors and institutions will assist more than 100 TRACS member institutions in fulfilling our motto of ‘Reaching a Higher Standard.’ It will permit participation in Christian college fairs, research, professional development and all other NACCAP initiatives. “I appreciate the work of NACCAP President Cook and the board of directors, which has allowed the TRACS staff to present the growing recognition of TRACS within both institutional and specialized higher education accreditation agencies.” NACCAP members benefit from a robust array of resources, including national and regional Christian college fairs, professional development opportunities, enrollment research and collaborative tools designed to support institutions in their outreach to prospective students and families.
