NACCAP is pleased to announce the launch of New Admissions Counselor Training, a professional development opportunity for undergraduate admissions professionals with less than one year of experience. This training replaces the former undergraduate SNAC model and reflects NACCAP’s ongoing commitment to preparing new counselors for today’s enrollment landscape.
This curated series of microcourses helps new counselors build a strong professional foundation — developing confidence, professionalism and practical skills essential to admissions work.
Each microcourse focuses on core competencies, including navigating the enrollment funnel, building relationships with students and families, maximizing travel season effectiveness and managing time and priorities in a fast-paced role.
Grounded in NACCAP’s long-standing professional development framework, the six microcourses are led by experienced enrollment and college guidance professionals who bring real-world insight and practical application to the learning experience.
The New Admissions Counselor Training microcourses are available on-demand, year-round.
Questions may be directed to Denise Cunningham, vice president of partnerships and strategic initiatives.
