The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals is pleased to announce that Keith Ramsdell, vice president for enrollment management and marketing at Ashland University, has been appointed the organization’s next president.

With more than 25 years of experience in higher education and nearly 15 years focused exclusively on graduate enrollment management, Ramsdell brings a broad range of experience to NACCAP. At Ashland University, he led the process for the development and execution of the university’s strategic enrollment plan and established the new Center for Homeschool and Classical Learning.

Ramsdell has served on the governing board of NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, for nearly 14 years. His terms as vice president and president of that organization helped prepare him to step into the role of NACCAP president.

He also played a critical role in building the partnership agreement between NAGAP and NACCAP in 2021 and has regularly presented at the NACCAP annual conference since the launch of the partnership.

This appointment follows the conclusion of Dr. Phil Cook’s term, who stepped down as NACCAP president in June 2025 after accepting the presidency at Lee University. Ramsdell assumes the role at a time of significant growth for NACCAP. The organization has experienced significant growth in membership, professional development programs and strategic partnerships in recent years. A strategic plan, developed by staff and approved last fall, positions NACCAP to continue this growth and further advance the mission of Christian education.

“I’m honored to have been selected to serve in this role and to champion Christian education across North America,” said Ramsdell. “Together, we will continue to increase NACCAP’s impact, fostering partnerships and equipping K-12 and college enrollment leaders with the tools needed to successfully spread the value proposition and lifelong impact of a Christ‑centered education.”

The search for NACCAP’s next president was launched in May 2025 with the hiring of FaithSearch Partners to guide the process. The search, like NACCAP’s membership, spanned Canada and the United States and resulted in a highly qualified and diverse pool of candidates.

NACCAP board chair Willem de Ruijter said, “Throughout the search process, Keith demonstrated a passion for NACCAP that is matched by his broad and deep experience in higher education, including his work at Ashland and in NAGAP. We are thankful that Keith has accepted the call and is ready to lead the organization as it seeks to advance the cause of Christian education.”

Ramsdell’s appointment will be effective September 15, 2025. A formal transition plan is underway to ensure a seamless leadership handover.
